The hotel has a futuristic look with a sci-fi neon-lit lobby that has a floor-to-ceiling mural. There are 1008 guestrooms spread across three buildings, each featuring a futuristic decor with geometric designs. Many of the rooms have balconies and some offer views of the garden. All the rooms feature high-speed Internet access, phones with voicemail, in-room safes, air conditioning, tables and chairs, ceiling fans, and clock radios. Orlando's Contemporary hotel has a marina where guests can rent boats and enjoy activities such as fishing, parasailing, water skiing, tubing, and wakeboarding. There is a sandy beach and an outdoor pool that is shaped like Mickey's ears. There is a second pool, children's pool, and a spa tub as well. Volleyball and tennis courts are available, and guests can exercise in the fitness center. Chef Mickey's Restaurant offers breakfast buffets including fresh fruit, omelets, and waffles, and dinner buffets with such items as prime rib and shrimp. Other dining options include the Concourse Steakhouse, open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner; and the California Grill, serving American cuisine for dinner in an on-stage kitchen. There is also Contemporary Grounds servings pastries and coffee, and the Outer Rim, a lounge serving cocktails until late evening.
