Guests are welcomed into a New Orleans-style train station, and the 1008 guestrooms are spread across seven low-rise buildings. Some rooms offer views of the pool or the Sassagoula River. The rooms are decorated in a festive mood inspired by Mardi Gras. All rooms have tables and chairs, cable television, coffee makers, multi-line phone with voicemail, clock radio, and air conditioning. Guests can enjoy outdoor fun at the Doubloon Lagoon, a water playground with a dragon-shaped waterslide and alligator fountains. Guests can also rent watercrafts and bicycles. The Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory is a food court serving Creole and American fare, and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. Scat Cat's Club is a jazz lounge right off the lobby courtyard and serves cocktails and other beverages.
