Orlando has many popular hotels, some of which we have listed on this page. Different hotels are popular among different travelers depending on what they desire in a hotel. Some of the most popular requirements are lower prices, convenience, and style. This page lists popular hotels in four categories: Disney’s most inexpensive hotels, Lake Buena Vista area hotels, International Drive area hotels, and the most common business traveler type hotels.

Disney’s most inexpensive hotels are perfect for families who want the full Disney experience but are not prepared to splurge on high-end hotels.  These are Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, Disney's All-Star Music Resort, Disney's All-Star Sports Resort and Disney's Pop Century Resort, located in the Animal Kingdom area of Disney World. These hotels are bright and colorful with rooms big enough for the whole family and cafeteria style restaurants. Kids will enjoy the pools and playground while mom and dad enjoy the low prices.

Other popular hotels in the Lake Buena Vista area include the Comfort Suites Maingate , Nickelodeon Family Suites, and Fairfield Inn by Marriott . Comfort Suites makes the list because it is new, comfortable, and offers great value. Nickelodeon Family Suites is a hotel that families go back to because kids love the themed rooms, evening entertainment, and poolside activities overseen by lifeguards.  Parents are happy with the spacious bedrooms and free kids breakfasts. Finally, the Fairfield Inn by Marriott, located in Lake Buena Vista, is another favorite because it is a new gated community with two other high value hotels: the Courtyard, and SpringHill Suites.

The most popular hotels in the International Drive area are the three Universal hotels: Universal's Hard Rock Hotel, Universal's Portofino Bay Hotel, and Universal's Royal Pacific Resort. Of these three, the Royal Pacific Resort offers the lowest prices and has a South Pacific atmosphere, complete with a beach, luaus, and palm trees. Another great hotel in the International Drive area that is quite popular among business and leisure travelers is the Doubletree Hotel. Business travelers are pleased with its conference facilities and families find its location at Universal's entrance to be very convenient.

Other popular hotels for business travelers include the JW Marriott , Renaissance Orlando Resort at SeaWorld, and Grand Bohemian. The JW Marriott stands out because of its great golf packages, upscale restaurants, and enough rooms for a large convention. Across the street from SeaWorld, the Renaissance Orlando Resort offers a business center, tennis, and golf. Lastly, the Grand Bohemian is sophisticated, modern, and has well appointed meeting spaces.
