Your pets are welcome in Orlando hotels

After all, Mickey is a mouse!

Anyone who has traveled with a pet knows how great it is to find an establishment that is pet friendly. Luckily there are various hotels in Orlando that allow pets, some of which are listed on this page.  In order to get updated information and requirements, it is suggested that guests call ahead to ensure that their pets will be welcome, as well as to comply with any regulations the hotel may have.

Visitors to Disney will be glad to find that the majority of Disney-owned resorts accept pets for an additional fee. Because each resort may have different requirements, it is imperative to call ahead and discuss these with the reservations desk. The Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate in the Kissimmee area, located south of Disney World, is a luxury hotel that is also pet friendly. Better known for its golf courses and spa, this hotel accepts pets that weigh less than 25 pounds for a $50 non-refundable fee. The International Drive area is home to the Universal theme parks and has several hotels that are pet friendly. Wyndham Orlando Resort, welcomes man’s best friend weighing under 50 pounds upon receipt of a $50 non-refundable fee. Masters Inn, conveniently priced and located on International Drive, also allows pets for a $20 non-refundable fee upon check-in. 

Fortunately, the three Universal hotels, Universal's Portofino Bay Hotel, Universal's Hard Rock Hotel, and Universal's Royal Pacific Resort, all allow guests to have up to two dogs of any size which adhere to the health requirement. Dog owners must present a certificate of health issued within the last 10 days by a veterinarian, and must also pay a $25 non-refundable fee.
