Adventure Island is Busch Gardens' water park and is located right across the street from Busch Gardens in Tampa. Adventure Island offers water rides and water attractions for every member of the family. An attraction that younger children will especially enjoy is Fabian's Funport, which offers a pool with small waves and a water gym.
Attractions that older children and adults will enjoy include: Endless Surf, a gigantic wave pool; Paradise Lagoon, which has a cliff jump and a cable drop; Rambling Bayou, a relaxing trip through a forest river on inner tubes; and Splash Attack, the most adventuresome of Adventure Islands' water play areas. Some of the popular rides at this park include: Riptide, in which racers compete on mats; Gulf Scream, where swimmers speed down a body slide at over 25 mph; and Key West Rapids, an inner tube ride that twists and turns, ending in a splash pool at the bottom. The Spike Zone has 11 sand volleyball courts where visitors can watch professional games and participate in amateur games.
Visitors are allowed to bring coolers into the park that can be carried. Alcohol and glass containers are not allowed. There is a picnic area outside the water park for guests who have large coolers and wagons.

Directions: If traveling from Orlando, go north on I-75 to exit 285. Go west on Fowler Avenue and turn left on McKinley Drive. Follow the signs to Busch Gardens.
