Beaches near Orlando
A Florida vacation wouldn't be complete without a trip to the beaches. There are several great beaches within a 90-minute drive of the hotels in Orlando, so we've put together four beach day trips offering something to suit everyone's needs. Whether you're looking for a great beach to surf or a romantic private retreat, nothing can equal a day along Florida's beautiful shoreline.
Swimming, fishing, surfing and diving are only a few of the great activities to be enjoyed on Florida's beaches. Children will have endless fun with a bag of inexpensive sand toys, and it gives parents a chance to sit back and relax as the youngsters amuse themselves. While some beaches have refreshments within walking distance, a cooler of drinks can be more convenient.
